Maintenalyze ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Maintenalyze mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Email address, username, and authentication provider (Apple, Google, Facebook, or email).
• Vehicle Data: Make, model, year, engine type, license plate, mileage, and vehicle photos you choose to upload.
• Service Records: Maintenance history including dates, mileage, costs, categories, workshop names, and invoice photos.
• Fuel Logs: Fuel fill-up records including date, odometer reading, volume, cost, and receipt photos.
• Reminders: Maintenance reminder settings and schedules.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the app's functionality.
• To track your vehicle maintenance history and send reminders.
• To generate analytics and insights about your vehicle costs.
• To contribute anonymized, aggregated data to community leaderboards (fuel efficiency, common failures, annual costs).
• To process vehicle transfers between users.

3. Community Data

We aggregate anonymized vehicle data (make, model, year, service costs, fuel efficiency) to power community leaderboards and statistics. This data cannot be traced back to individual users.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on servers hosted by Railway. We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit. Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device using platform-specific secure storage.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Apple Sign In, Google Sign In, Facebook Login: For authentication. These services may collect data according to their own privacy policies.
• RevenueCat: For subscription management and in-app purchases.
• Expo / EAS: For app updates and push notifications.

6. Photos

Photos you upload (vehicle photos, invoices, receipts, odometer readings) are stored on our servers and are only accessible to you. We do not share your photos with third parties.

7. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data (vehicles, services, fuel logs, reminders, and uploaded photos) will be permanently deleted.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data through the app.
• Export your vehicle service history as a PDF.
• Delete your account and all associated data.
• Transfer vehicle ownership to another user.

9. Children's Privacy

Our app is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the app.
